About This Game Ghostory is a 2D platformer designed around switching between physical and ghostly forms in order to solve increasingly taxing puzzles. Despite starting off with a curse, this is a light-hearted adventure, with an engaging plot, retro-styled pixel art graphics, and a wild menagerie of puns.Ghostory won the Best Student Project prize at Game Access 2016.In human form players can interact with levers, pick up keys, jump, and carry the backpack they'll have to leave behind when incorporeal. In ghost form, they can fly and pass through walls. Clever use of both forms is what will allow them to survive and escape the cave unscathed. The game comes packed with dozens of carefully-crafted levels meant to tax your logical and lateral thinking skills and is never afraid to introduce new mechanics and unique puzzles as players venture deeper into the cave. Ghostory, despite its simple controls, always remains challenging and keeps offering fresh, often multi-tier puzzles. Complex, occasionally fiendish puzzles. Dozens of unique levels. Smooth animations, and quality pixel art. Engagingly deep plot complete with rather silly puns. Atmospheric music to tie in with the detailed environments of each level. Smooth and responsive controls. Important mushrooms. In Ghostory, you take on the role of a lone traveler lost in the woods. Drinking water from a weird lake has placed a deadly curse on him, but also allowed him to transform into a ghost and fly - at will.Thankfully, an old and irritatingly funny lady can help him prepare the required antidote, but she will need a very special mushroom for this. A mushroom that only grows in a seemingly safe cave nearby. Surely, nothing can go wrong now. 7aa9394dea Title: GhostoryGenre: Adventure, Casual, IndieDeveloper:RigidCore GamesPublisher:RigidCore GamesRelease Date: 23 Oct, 2017 Ghostory Key Serial Number ghostery extension. ghostery google. ghostery app. ghostery browser. ghostory school of seven bells. ghostory pc game. ghostery opera. phim ghostory. ghostery careers. ghostory pc. ghostery cookies. ghostory game. ghostery chrome. ghostery review. ghostery click to play. ghostory pc gameplay. ghostery vs ublock. bakemonogatari (ghostory) sub indo. ghostery vs adblock. ghostery crunchyroll. free download ghostory. ghostory / bakemonogatari. ghostery add on. ghostory anime. ghostory steam. ghostory sviib. ghostery safari. ghostery controversy. ghostery crunchbase. ghostery firefox. ghostery chrome android. ghostery download. ghostory gameplay. ghostory film. ghosted episode 1. ghostery competitors. ghostery plugin. ghostery causing firefox to crash Fantastic platformer. Every time you progress deeper into the depths of the cave there will be new elements and puzzles you'll need to solve to progress further. Only qualm I have is that I wish there were more levels! Definitely earned a fan for life. 10/10. I had a lot of fun playing Ghostory and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is into puzzle platformers. The visuals are very nice and the music is simple but pleasant to listen to.The game has a unique mechanic in that the player can switch between human form (which carries the backpack which is needed to collect keys and other items) and ghost form (which can fly through walls). By cleverly switching between these forms you can solve the puzzles. The puzzles are challenging but certainly not too difficult to solve. In total, I had to use the hint system 4 times (my bad). I finished the game in 13 hours, so I got a lot of fun out of the 2,79 Euro I paid for it in a sale. You only need light platforming skills as there are hardly any difficult jumps – only an occasional jump from moving platform to another moving platform all while avoiding the swarms of flies requires careful timing. Some (parts of) puzzles are relatively simple and can be easily solved by following the only possible route through the cave – but even when you definitively know you must proceed through a certain path, it is most of the time still not immediately obvious how to proceed. However, most of the later levels have multiple routes that the player can take, and some also have many superfluous platforms that look like they are the correct route to take but are actually dead ends – these levels are much more difficult and the most fun to solve. Although the puzzles get progressively more challenging, this is mainly because the caves become bigger, more elaborate and complicated, but not because the game mechanics / enemies / platforming items get more advanced. About halfway through the game the “flies” get introduced (although you can walk through a swarm, your backpack can not get through swarms of flies) and also the pressure plates make their appearance, but these two are the only new game mechanics that are not already there in the early levels. Although you might expect that the later levels might get a bit repetitive because they are all based on the same type of challenges, I did certainly not get bored, and enjoyed solving the puzzles right to the very end. The developers did a great job in designing the levels, with seemingly endless variations and mix-ups using the same basic puzzle elements. What I also greatly appreciated was the fact that for the majority of levels you could not screw up your progress by for instance dropping an item (or yourself) from a ledge without the possibility to get it back or your character being stuck somewhere in the cave and therefore making it necessary to restart the level. This can only happen in very few levels. The worst thing that can happen is that you have to repeat a certain set of moves to restore the situation before you made the mistake..
